A proven leader of projects and programmes in both the public and private sectors.

Phil has over 30 years of experience in the engineering and construction industries and his recognized expertise has seen him lead international consortiums, chair government policy groups and be an active participant on major project boards.

Phil is currently responsible for oversight of project delivery for the SNC-Lavalin Engineering, Design and Project Management Sector (revenue C$3.9bn), giving the President and CEO an independent lens into the performance of the business.

Phil also holds the position of network chair for project management – the discipline head of Project Management for Atkins and Faithful+Gould worldwide.

Before joining SNC-Lavalin (Atkins), Phil worked with contractors Fluor, Multiplex and Metronet, who he joined after serving with London Underground and British Rail.

Phil is a Fellow of the Institute of Directors, a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers and a Fellow of the Association of Project Management. He has been awarded chartered status in four separate disciplines.
