Scope: Westfield London was a £1.6billion regeneration project on a 40 acre railway site between Shepherds Bush and White City in West London. It was designed to accommodate four anchor stores, more than 265 speciality shops, over 40 places to dine, a state-of-the art 14-screen cinema and a health and beauty retreat and gymnasium. To clear the land ready for construction of the 150,000 sq m complex the existing railway including a depot was moved below ground.
