Scope: Covered Way 58, refurbishment of this 130 year-old structure, delivering full HA UDL loading and 30Units HB. Included as Movement for Innovation’s 29th demonstration project. Also, to reduce the risk of the cast iron beams failing during construction, Carbon Fibre Composite strips were bonded to the soffit of the beams. Presented at the ICE, September 2000.
